Consumer health data privacy policy
Effective date: to be set at launch.
Washington's My Health My Data Act, and similar laws elsewhere, require a separate policy for consumer health data. Whether a record of the exercises you did counts as health data is arguable. We treat it as if it does.
The health data we collect
The exercises you perform, and their sets, weights, repetitions, durations and dates. Notes you write about an exercise.
We do not collect bodyweight, body measurements, heart rate, sleep, nutrition, or any data from Apple Health or other health services.
If you turn on Apple Health in the app, Wayted writes the workouts you log in it, past and future, to Apple Health on that phone (not ones imported from other apps): that each was strength training, when it started and ended, and an estimate of the active calories it burned. For that estimate the app asks for your body weight and keeps it only on the phone. It is never sent to us, so we still do not collect it, and signing out deletes it. The app only writes. It never reads anything from Apple Health, so nothing in Apple Health reaches us.
Where it comes from
From you, when you log a workout or import your history from another app.
Why we collect it
To show you your training and progress, and to show it to friends you've accepted.
Who we share it with
Friends you've accepted. Supabase stores it for us. We do not sell it, and would ask for your written permission before ever doing so.
Your rights
You can see, export and delete your data at any time: export from Account in the app, and delete from Account in the app or on our account deletion page.
